- Joel David is a gay, Puerto Rican, ethnic Jehovah's Witness, Celiac from middle-of-nowhere New York who recently moved to Fort Lauderdale from Baltimore. He enjoys beach volleyball, fundraising, anything smothered in two or more kinds of cheese and people who tell it like it is. "100 Days Without Gluten" is written for all those with Celiac disease who struggle each day to keep themselves gluten-free and healthy... and those that love them and keep them strong!
